The APS
The APS or Advanced Password System is an advanced password protection feature of jv16 PowerTools. This means that you can use different kinds of media, such as CD-ROMs, as password. This feature is very useful if you have problems in remembering passwords.

How does it work
APS works by generating an unique password which remains hidden all the time from the media you choose. Please notice that you can't modify the content of the media, like a CD-RW disk, while you use it with APS.

How to use it
When you create or edit an user account you can see a button called "Use APS. First, input the media, such as a CD-ROM to your CD-ROM drive. Then, click the "Use APS" button and choose the drive where the media is and click OK. When you want to log in using that user account just write your username to the login dialog and click the small icon in the lower left corner of the login dialog and select the drive where your media is.
